Barclay McClay is the name of the protagonist in Two Left Feet – a children’s book written by my mother in 1995.
I adopted it as my online alias sometime in 2019… And then the global pandemic struck. I spent a-lot of the next two years in lockdown, and as a result; a-lot more time getting my social fix from online spaces, using the ‘Barclay’ alias instead of my ‘real’ name.
To tell the truth; I don’t imagine most or even much of the content on here will be of mass-appeal… But if I was to use an alias and still be shy/hold back/worry about what the internet thinks of me; then that would be pretty cowardly, right?
I’m not a man of mystery; follow some links, do some deductions- you’ll be able to figure out who I am when I’m walking around the streets of Melbourne if you really want to know about that.
